Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum Celebrates Second Annual Día de Muertos on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018

The Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum, in collaboration with Semillitas Preschool, will celebrate its Second Annual Día de Muertos event. Rooted in Mexican tradition, Día de Muertos is a festive time of remembrance in which families decorate the tombs of deceased relatives and install memorial ofrendas where special offerings are laid out that would be appealing and comforting to the returning souls.

The Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum is pleased to provide a venue for the public to celebrate its ancestors and loved ones that have passed on. A desire to reconnect with those who have gone before us is a natural and admirable tradition.

Commemorating the event, on Saturday November 3rd, 2018 from 10:00am to 4:00pm, the public is invited to view ofrendas honoring the dead, live performances by Semillitas Preschool’s Aztec Dancers, Ballet Folklorico Alma de Oro de Carson and Mariachi Academy of Carson; in addition, Mexican cuisine, arts and crafts will be available for purchase.
